Sales Manager
Lexington hotel group is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic sales professional. The candidate needs to be self motivated and driven by the hunt. Must be able to communicate in a positive and productive way both internally and externally to ensure success for the customer and the hotel. The ideal candidate is serviced-oriented, motivated, passionate, collaborative, and has a deep understanding of how to develop and maintain relationships with customers, how to effectively prospect and how to positively and creatively work in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and Execute sales and Marketing plan to drive business in new and existing markets.
* Establish and maintain customer relationships.
* Understand and keep up to date with General Manager to achieve 100 % or more of business transient goals, group room goals, and catering revenue goals, through ADR and occupancy.
* Prospect new and existing business opportunities proactively outside appointments, cold calls, warm referrals, networking, follow up, internet prospecting and sales blitzes.
* Qualify small to midsize meetings with and without F and B, create BEO and finalize details.
* Communicate effectively to both internal and external customers.
* We are a team focused organization and must be able to assist as needed in all areas of the organization.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years hotel sales experience.
* Detail oriented.
* Strong written and verbal skills.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Must be able to manage multiple tasks.
* Provide exceptional customer service.
* Some catering experience is preferred.
